MUSEUM TOUR:

Uffizi Gallery

Uffizi_interior.jpg

One of the most important museums in Europe, the Uffizi contains masterpieces of Renaissance painting.

The Gallery is designed to highlight Florentine painting through the works of some of its most iconic representatives: from its Medieval beginnings with Cimabue and Giotto; through generations of Renaissance masters such as Botticelli, Filippo Lippi, Paolo Uccello, Pollaiolo, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael; as well as the geniuses of Mannerism: Andrea Del Sarto, Rosso and Pontormo. Other parts of the collection contain works from other painters, especially Flemish and Venetian painters, whose work had great influence on the evolution of Florentine painting.

Our Uffizi tour can be tailored to your expectations: it can be a pleasant introduction to the highlights of the great masters, all the way to an in-depth conversation about specific artists, periods and styles.
